I created a restricted group.

People sent emails to subscribe…
Under management I can see their email requests but I do not know how to authorize them
There are 5 people who sent emails to subscribe.

None of them are pending members, yet none of them are members
I tried to answer the person who answered my question.

I do not see these people under pending

For every group there is an email list that people can automatically subscribe and unsubcscribe to, and to which messages can be posted and announcments sent. As a group moderator, what I want to know is if it’s possible to create a second sub-list, in addition to the main one, that people can also subscribe and unsubscribe to automatically. We would use this for extra related announcements and messages that some, but not all, the people in the group would be interested in getting.

If this is possible, can someone who knows how please let me know how I could begin setting it up? I haven’t been able to find anything one way or another about this in the Yahoo documentation. Also, if anyone knows for a fact that this is not possible, please let me know that. Again, this second list needs to be one that people can automatically subscribe and unsubscribe to, not one that the moderator would have to manually add and remove people from.

Thanks!

we are trying to switch to a moderated group because of getting a lot of spam, and I recieved an email saying I was an owner of the group and an a moderator. But when I go to the link I was given after “access your management tools and any additional priveledges granted…” it says I am not a moderator. I checked with the person who listed me as a moderator and she said she went to the group[s page and it says I am indeed a moderator. So how can I start acting like a moderator?

The group was established before Yahoo ID’s were needed I guess. Need email commands the owner can use to add a moderator or pass ownership on to another user. Is there an email command reference list?
