I am an IT tech responsible for my companies’ network. We have a large number of “black lists” we can add to query incoming spam on email but what is the best ones to use? If I add too many we may not get emails we should – if I don’t use the right ones we will get all the viagra and stock quote junk we don’t want. Is anyone familiar with this that could help me?

I had a person who was in my Gmail list and contact book. Now, I do not want to keep any contact with this person. I do not want that even my bulk email(which i send to many people) should go to him, even by default. If I just block him from the chat list , will that person able to see my status–online or not?

The integrity of a friend’s email address was compromised by FanBox. FanBox tricked him (a new internet user) into giving them his email address and password. Since then I’ve been spammed twice a day or more… Research shows it won’t quit but I’d only encourage more spamming if I respond by clicking the “Take me off your list” link. Has anyone ever successfully been removed from FanBox’s emailing lists?

I was wondering if anyone knows of any journals/mailing lists that you can join for free that will send you live updates about computer security

I know the internet is very public, but what’s the ethics on this? Is there a law for this? How can we prevent content stealing?
the reason I’m asking is… somebody just copied MY blog and distributed its contents through mailing lists, and guess what, the forwarded email is forwarded to ME!
