I am getting a lot of spam from people claiming I can get huge amounts of money from overseas. I am a victim of fraud. I would like my e mail off of the international list.

I have a friend who received a 3 page letter in the mail asking him to send $1 to the people listed and if he wanted, he could purchase a list of 200 names and addresses, add his name to the 6 listed and have those 200 people possibly send him $1 also. I’m concerned about the legalities of this scenario. They say that it’s supposedly legal because when the people send you $1, they have to attach a note asking to be added to your mailing list. Any info would be appreciated. Please list web sources if that’s what you have. Thanks
