I am an IT tech responsible for my companies’ network. We have a large number of “black lists” we can add to query incoming spam on email but what is the best ones to use? If I add too many we may not get emails we should – if I don’t use the right ones we will get all the viagra and stock quote junk we don’t want. Is anyone familiar with this that could help me?

I was wondering if it is true that Yahoo sells the alternate email address’ that you list when signing up for a yahoo account. I have an email address through Roadrunner that I normally use. Within 24 hours of signing up with Yahoo, I was getting slammed with spam. I had this email address for over a year with no spam problems at all until I registered with Yahoo.

I then read online about how if you list an alternate email address with Yahoo, they add them to bulk mail lists and sell them.

I do not know if it is true but I think so. I just ended up deleting my Yahoo account and open a new one with no alternate email listed and deleted my Roadrunner address as well.

Whether it is true or not, I thought I would just give a heads up.

Looking to locate list of asset management companies. Prefer list with Contact Name Phone# address and email address. Any Idea where a list like this could be obtained or purchased?
Our company renovates foreclosed vacant properties. These are our optimal customers. We work for a variety of lenders and are the preferred contractors for such.
And Asset management companies often control properties across the country. (I.E. this week we have a project in Detroit that was hired from an Atlanta REO Management Co.)

I’m not an environmental wacko which are all to prevalent these days but it is a waste of trees to send me hundreds of pounds of catalogues every year that I don’t even look at.

Not knowing an email address, how can you contact a business if they only list phone numbers.

Someone gave me a list of 10,000 business contacts.

They consist of:

* Name
* Title
* Direct Email Address
* Direct Phone Number
* Company Name
* Company Address
* Company Phone Number
* Company Website
* Industry
* # of Employees

What can I do with this list? I have a feeling I can use it somehow to make money or start a business, but what? Any ideas?

I understand how to block and/or filter email, but how about regular USPS mail. Is there a good way to stop the junk? I can’t imagine how many trees it takes to make all the flyers and papers I get in the mail that go straight to the recycle bin. All those resources (postage/paper/money/time) spent and all the mail gets is a half-second glance, what a waste!
I don’t mean through USPS. I understand they have to deliver mail that has paid postage. I’m asking if there is a way to get my address removed from the sources’ lists.

Is there a way to block who you are subscribed too on YouTube so people cannot see who is on your list? Thanks.
