I need to add it to my geocities.com website to update people. Some sort of Newsletter-type service. It has to be a service where anyone can subscribe. (NOT like yahoo Groups, where ONLY yahoo members can join.)
*Update- Actually twins were just born in our family & they are 4 months preemie, and were looking for an easier way to update people & weren’t looking to force them to join yahoo just so they could get updates & don’t want to have to deal with selecting 75 addresses each time we wish to send an update.

I know a lot of people want to get off the junk mail lists and dont want to be called by solicitors but if I wanted to how would I get on the list to receive massive amounts of junk mail and be called by solicitors. I don’t mean e-mail either I mean regular mail. I know it sounds stupid but I am just curious.

I’m doing this for my job and i’m completely ignorant about this sort of thing. Also, what’s an smpt server and how can i figure mine out (or whatever)

I have been getting spam emails from myself, my name, and also from my own yahoo account with links in them, which I have not clicked on.
