What can I do to a boxfull of mailing lists?

I just moved to an apartment, I guess the last tenant left a shoebox full of mailing lists (peoples’ names and addresses) about 500 names. Should I give it to the landlord or just shred it and throw it away.

If you were on the list and someone found the list…what would you want them to do with the list? Yes, shred it.

Shred them but then throw them in the recycle bin. Thanks from the 500 people on the list.
